GeraldHe is friendly and explained to me the process of this repair that the hard disk is faulty and beyond repair. He also assured me that the faulty hard disk will be disposed together with allthe others faulty parts which Star Shield had accumulated. Staff member Gerald was extremely helpful and polite, throughout the entire 3.5 weeks, that was required to repair the laptop's keyboard. The Extended Warranty was extremely helpful and worth the initial investment 2 years ago, when I purchased the laptop. Something which would have cost me $300-$400, IF I had repaired externally, was covered FOC for me, once I sent the laptop to STAR Shield. Highly Recommended 🙂

This is one of the worst experience I had to go through with regards to warranty. Had my phone sent in for repair about 2 months ago due to phone screen issue. Call in 2 weeks after and told me that my phone is fixed and ready for collection. Came by the next day and realised the phone was still not fixed. Asked me to wait for their call again. Waited for another 3-4 weeks. Called in to check about the status. They said they will expertide the matters and is waiting for management approval. And now another 2 weeks has passed. Yet I still not gotten their follow up. Please contact me ASAP. My patient has already reached the limit.

Do not purchase their warranty!! Purchased their extended 2 year warranty for my Google pixel 7 thru challenger and when I tried to claim for warranty when my LCD screen failed, I was informed that they require 1-2 weeks to fix it. Who can accept without phone for even 1 week?!! I forgo the warranty and went to a handphone repair shop to replace it in less than 1hr. Will never buy from them again!! What a scam company

Moral of the story, Never purchase Starshield Warranty.Recently brought in my JBL earbuds for warranty work (still within warranty) on a battery issue with the left earbuds not charging and/or not holding charge. Without even conducting checks the service people at the counter immediately told me that the battery issue was "not covered" by my warranty and that repairs was not available as JBL do not provide battery replacement services.Abit let down, I then asked what about the one-to-one replacement, they mentioned that if the cost is below a specified amount ($100) a replacement was not possible and that I would have to bear the cost of the charges. Still, I booked in the earbuds for them to give a once over of the product in hopes that an unrepairable earbuds set could be replaced/repaired.The next week I received a call from the centre asking to pick up my device as the issue was a battery issue and could not be covered. Frustrated, I headed over to science park to pick up my device, on the way there I decided to do some research on the brand and it's terms mainly acts or items that were not covered by Warranty and it shocked me to an extent under no.6 " expulsions" almost every aspect was not covered by warranty.At this point I was even more vexed as I had purchased an extended warranty on a very laptop for $200 by guess who? Starshield. Even worse is the fact that Starshield push extended warranties in big retailers such as Harvey Norman and Challenger, so think of the amount of people being possibly cheated/scammed.Upon reaching the outlet at science park the person whom returned my earbuds had the audacity to tell me "it still works" and my warranty (which was completely useless) was still valid.I hope the upper management/owners of this brand/company are reading this. From some of the previous reviews since last year,you got so far cheating people and eventually your luck will run out.That's all I have to say, as of now I'm staying far away from local retailers and Starshield sg. The next time a sleazy salesman tries to sell you on an extended warranty, they dont care about customer service or your product, only their paycheck.

Very angry and disappointed with the experience went to start shields science park store. I was told toner problem without warranty. So I brought back the printer and charged a new toner. But the problem is still existing. I don't know whether I need to go science park 3 times to repair again.

1. In year 2022 I brought my laptop to check on my charging issues. Your service person said my battery need to be changed. As I brought 366 days ago I was puzzled why so fast, so brought to HP for second opinion. HP said my battery no issue. I requested for a quote to determine if it is worth the trouble to made my way to this Service Centre for repair. What is the point of having our laptop model and serial number and provide me a quote before I dropped my laptop for repair. The final cost end up 50% more from the quote that smoked me to go drop my laptop for repair for the replacement of the battery!What is the point of getting an extended warranty and tell me "Please note that this quote is specifically for customers who have an extended warranty."Overall, it looks like I am getting the same price with or without the "specifically for customers who have an extended warranty".

I was given only a 3 MONTH warranty after repairs though their ADVERTISEMENT in the shop indicates a 6 MONTH warranty period (see photo). When asked, the staff said "oh it has changed". This is not right.Repairs for my laptop took a long time, about 2.5weeks (HP took less than a week, plus they provided a loan laptop in the mean time). Technicians were busy and could not talk to me when I called to check what was wrong, nor did they explain what caused the machine to die. Not great. Front desk service staff were polite, but could not answer any technical questions.And btw, Starshield rewards clients with a free gift when they give POSITIVE (5 stars) feedback. But, is the service 5-star? I don't think so...

One of the worst service I have ever encounter Malay guy wearing the orange shirt keep telling me to turn off my find my macbook app when I send in the servicing of my laptop and telling me off that do you understand what I’m saying how would I know this step where I seldom or never used it before his very impatient this piss me off big time when I spent extra hundreds of dollars just to get this kind of attitude problem never again will I ever step into any one of the challengers stores wishes that I could give you 0 stars but only 1 stars is given.
