Brought my airpods for repair as I bought the extended warranty from them when Challenger was selling the service 2 years back. The staff, Nigel, who served me was polite and helpful.Prior appt is needed on the app and slots are readily available. I could make an appt for the next day.The only downside was that the repair time was a bit too long (2 weeks). Will update again on the repair status.

bad experience, they do not really help and don't take ownership of their mistakes. I came to get my new laptop screen repaired because it was popping out which caused my screen to get cracked then they wanted to charge me. before that, I even emailed them asking if I could cover my laptop screen issue under the warranty but they only replied with saying Booking of appointments are all done online on the app which basically did not answer my question. worst warranty company I've worked with so far

Service is extremely poor. Took 2 weeks to acknowledge receipt of item for repair. They then needed another 2 more weeks to get the parts. In total , they needed 1 month to diagnose and get the parts. This is excluding the time they needed to fix up the parts. Not recommended to buy extended warranty of computers and laptops with Star Shield.

Came to get a warranty for replacement of cracked screen and blue screen issues and was informed they’ll look into said issues. Came back 2 weeks later and they said the blue screen error was due to the cracked screen, how is that even possible. Not sure if back end is lazy or simply just doesn’t care. Horrendous. At least the servicing agent (Nigel) seemed nice -,-

Never again will i use this service, even with the extended warranty, the offer was to have a used, lower model item, or practically forcing me to pay $25 for a new item. Minimally i would expect a repair or new replacement. The first word out of service agent is to pay if it cannot be repaired. What is the sense of insurance since i can buy the replacement item online for a bit more. They also require using their app just to make appointments to collect and making two trips down to the service centre.

GeraldHe is friendly and explained to me the process of this repair that the hard disk is faulty and beyond repair. He also assured me that the faulty hard disk will be disposed together with allthe others faulty parts which Star Shield had accumulated. Staff member Gerald was extremely helpful and polite, throughout the entire 3.5 weeks, that was required to repair the laptop's keyboard. The Extended Warranty was extremely helpful and worth the initial investment 2 years ago, when I purchased the laptop. Something which would have cost me $300-$400, IF I had repaired externally, was covered FOC for me, once I sent the laptop to STAR Shield. Highly Recommended 🙂

This is one of the worst experience I had to go through with regards to warranty. Had my phone sent in for repair about 2 months ago due to phone screen issue. Call in 2 weeks after and told me that my phone is fixed and ready for collection. Came by the next day and realised the phone was still not fixed. Asked me to wait for their call again. Waited for another 3-4 weeks. Called in to check about the status. They said they will expertide the matters and is waiting for management approval. And now another 2 weeks has passed. Yet I still not gotten their follow up. Please contact me ASAP. My patient has already reached the limit.
